Kafan newly designed automatic wet sand blasting cabinet has specially customized the tumble basket, which is highly suitable for the surface finishing of batches metal workpieces.

Automatic wet sand blasting cabinet offers more delicate effect on metal surface cleaning(rust, paint, stains and other unwanted material removing). Blasting abrasive and water mixture causes no dust during the process, automation has enhanced the efficiency of sandblasting.

1. The benefit of the wet blasting cabinet is that workparts can be placed in the machine without the need of degreasing prior, and wet blasting machine is made of stainless steel, which is stronger and more durable than ordinary carbon steel.

2.The key to wet blasting cabinet is that the finish is produced through flow of water borne abrasive and not by impact. This creates a finer finish due to the lubrication and flushing action of the water during the blasting process, media impregnation into the component is avoided and the life of the blast media is extended.

 

Working Principle

The working principle of the automatic wet sand blasting cabinet

The wet sand blasting cabinet working principle uses a mixture of abrasive and water that is propelled to the blasting gun. This 'slurry' is then accelerated using compressed air. When the slurry impacts with workparts to be cleaned, it can lightly degrease (if an additive is used in the water) and also create a uniform finish on the automatically blasted workparts.

Optional Items

Kafan wet sand blasting cabinet can be configured with an optional recirculating rinse tank interconnected to the slurry hopper for a closed loop system. After the three filtration of the filter tank, the returned water can reach a very clean degree, and the water can be recycled to save water resources. It also can be fitted with a skimmer to remove floating oil or grease.

In addition to the tumble basket, custom turntable can also be provided. The turntable and cart is optional in the blasting chamber, and manual or automatic turntables of different sizes can be customized according to customer needs.
